GAPS International Education is looking for enthusiastic and qualified Japanese Language Instructors to join our Kathmandu team. The ideal candidates should be passionate about teaching and capable of delivering high-quality instruction up to the JLPT N4 level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Japanese language courses up to JLPT N4 level, following an organized curriculum
• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to students’ learning needs
• Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and mock tests to evaluate student progress
• Provide guidance, feedback, and support to students for language development
• Utilize various teaching tools, including multimedia and software-based methods
• Maintain records of student attendance and performance
• Coordinate with academic staff and participate in curriculum development when needed
• Stay updated with JLPT exam patterns and changes in language teaching trends

Requirements:

• Intermediate to Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field (Japanese language qualification preferred)
• Fluent in Japanese and capable of teaching up to the JLPT N4 level
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate, with the ability to use online teaching platforms, presentations, and digital tools
• Able to maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment
• Must be loyal, honest, and confident, with a passion for language education
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory
